The Deputy Head of Mission of the Japanese Embassy in RS Macedonia, Mr. Takahashi Satoru, today paid a visit to the Municipality of Kriva Palanka. During the visit, Mr. Satoru and Mayor Micevski discussed the current situation in the Municipality of Kriva Palanka, as well as possible opportunities for continuing and deepening cooperation with the Japanese Embassy.
The meeting and the visit are a result of the activities that were realized in the previous year, during which JKP Komunalec received a donation in a garbage collection vehicle. The help arrived at the right moment because at that time the vehicle fleet of this company was in a really unenviable condition, with outdated and depreciated vehicles that did not meet the needs and dynamics of work.
& #8211; On this occasion, allow me on my own behalf and on behalf of the Municipality of Kriva Palanka to express my gratitude to the Japanese people and the Japanese Embassy, Mr. Takahashi Satoru, NOT Keiko Haneda for the trust, the assistance provided in the hope that we will continue to develop and advance our mutual relations, said Mayor Micevski.
Satoru said he was pleased to attend the handover of the donation.
–The donation of the municipal waste vehicle aims to improve the environment for all citizens of Kriva Palanka who benefit from it, I am happy that with that we will be able to contribute to preserving the clean environment, beautiful nature and environment in the city and the surrounding area . This project is the result of good cooperation between the Embassy of Japan and the municipality, between the Japanese people and the Macedonian people and the citizens of Kriva Palanka and Kriva Palanka as a municipality. I have been in RS Macedonia and Skopje for only a few months, I was glad to visit your municipality for the first time and I admired the beauties of nature. "I hope our cooperation will continue," Takahashi said.
He pointed out that he hopes that dealing with the world pandemic with Covid-19 will be successful for all nations and countries, so it will be possible to work on attracting Japanese tourists to RS Macedonia, and of course in Kriva Palanka.
